Description
The "mvall" command changes the name of old_name to new_name. This will also change any references to old_name that may appear in other combinations in the database. The mv command will change an object’s name without changing references to it. The prefix command will also change the names and references of objects. If the -n option is provided, then no objects are renamed instead only reporting the objects that would be changed.
Example(s)
- mged> mvall shapea shapeb
- Change the name of shapea to shapeb everywhere it occurs in the database.
