Title: APPLESEED integration: Write a small C/C++ program in appleseed that renders an image (task #3 of 5)
Description: PRIORITY PROJECT

BRL-CAD is looking to integrate with *appleseed* for rendering.  This task gets you familiarized with how to work with the appleseed API.

For this set of tasks, you'll need to download and install appleseed from source.  You can use the same appleseed scene you used in task #1 of 5.  Next, look at the appleseed API documentation.  Render your appleseed scene using a simple test program.  This sample will probably be helpful (or possibly even exactly what you need).

Write a simple C/C++ program like the example.  Have it write out an image to confirm it's working.

SUBMIT your C/C++ source code, your Appleseed project file(s), and your output image.
