We've had a lot of really awesome website landing page design submissions this year. We'd like to see them showcased so they may all be easily compared.
Download all of the submitted designs (note that most tasks uploaded zip files with multiple files) and create a web page that showcases them, organized per user. Doesn't have to be anything complicated or fancy but you do have to include all designs for this year.
If you know a little bit of coding, you might want to use/modify this tool to automatically download them all: https://www.google-melange.com/gci/task/view/google/gci2013/5807450632486912
Create a web page that lists each user, displays a preview of the design as an image (screenshot), ideally with all of them roughly the same size. It'd be awesome if you also link to their actual design, but the preview is sufficient too. Include the name of the author with each design and a link to the GCI task.
Upload a zip file that includes your web page, the preview images, and any other files you need to include. You're welcome to use any languages, but the end-result will ideally be something we can unzip and open in a browser.

One of the mentors has sent this task back for more work. Talk to the mentor(s) assigned to this task to satisfy the requirements needed to complete this task, submit your work again and mark the task as complete once you re-submit your work.
The work on this task is ready to be reviewed.
- Now opens all the webpages on click, instead of linking to the task, for ease of use.
- All the webpages are now opened in a new tab.
- Design is responsive.
- Some of the designs were not actual webpages but pngs/pdfs, just linked to them directly in that case.
As soon as this task gets accepted, I will incorporate it into a bigger web page, that is divided into tabs like "logo designs" "t-shirt designs" "web-page designs", for ease of use on your end and quick evaluation.
Regards,
Marc
Congratulations, this task has been completed successfully.
Marc, this is outstanding and will work well enough (certainly enough effort). However, I am having doubts on the cover flow. Since the goal is to browse and compare quickly, I think cover flow makes it a little clunky to view them all. I found myself having to mentally keep tabs on whether I'd looped around and there were lots of extra clicks required to open each one up. We know that there will be 20 or fewer for each gallery, which should all fit on one page, so I think it'll work better to take advantage of that and just display their previews all at once.
