Animate our logo! #4BRL-CAD

We have a logo inspired by interlocked nodes (like a bike chain). We'd like to see some concepts of how it might be animated. Use your creativity and make something we can either use on our website, or maybe even use as a "loading..." or progress bar animation.

Create 2D or 3D animated version of our logo. Submit an animated gif preview as well as any raw higher-resolution working files you used.

Rohit, nice simple smooth animation. However, I'm not sure how/where we'd but this to use with the title text on it.. ideas? :)

We can mark this done if you'd like to move on, as this does fulfill the task, but your design inspired another idea. What if you just kept them spinning around 360 without the text? Hold the center pin still and let the black left side slide under the red right side, have them continue all the way around and come back. If they start and stop at our logo angles, we could use this as an indicator of sorts.

If that's not something you're interested in trying, just mark this as complete again. No worries.
