Animate our logo! #8BRL-CAD
Status: ClosedTime to complete: 100 hrs Mentors: Kesha Shah, DeepakTags: animation, 2D, logo, design, graphics

We have a logo inspired by interlocked nodes (like a bike chain). We'd like to see some concepts of how it might be animated. Use your creativity and make something we can either use on our website, or maybe even use as a "loading..." or progress bar animation.

Create 2D or 3D animated version of our logo. Submit an animated gif preview as well as any raw higher-resolution working files you used.

Reduceqq, this is a great start and I also like that you've posted an explanation for your files!

Here are some suggestions:

- the black node hops from one node to another and that animation feels a bit unnatural/forced.

- I believe that your idea was that rotation would simulate loading, which is an awesome idea, you could improve on that.

Just an example on improving it,  there is absolutely no need to follow it, you could spin the whole straight chain in a circle then finish with it in initial position, just in BRL-CAD form ( / \ ). Perhaps my example is too complicated, but I wanted to showcase that there are no limits.  Feel free to improvise!
