Coreinterface is a C++ interface. It is a object oriented API to BRL-CAD's core libraries around librt. The target users are developers of applications which use BRL-CAD libraries. It's official name is MOOSE (BRL-CAD Modular Object Oriented Software Extension)
Your task is simple, design a logo for MOOSE!Make it look impressive, awesome. Be simple, but be awesome.
There are duplicates of this task as we solicit ideas and inspiration. You will need to upload a raw editable version(psd, xcf) containing all layers of your design as well as a png/jpg version.

Jude, this design is a little awkward with the face (makes it seem unprofessional) ... almost creepy! :)
That said, the bigger issue is that it effectively says "brlMcad" which looks like MCAD and is not good because that implies this is for a Mechanical CAD system (which we are not).
Note that your logo design does not need to incorporate "BRL-CAD". Doesn't hurt and is fine to have, but the emphasis should be on "MOOSE".
Sorry for the mistake, I've done the entire logo again.
It looks good. Just a few tweaks and then I can close this task.
The BRL-CAD logo is distorted. You can get a high quality png from http://brlcad.org/wiki/Logo
Also in your xcf file, the M is in same layer as gray background, try to have a different text layer for M, so that we can do any further changes if needed.
I have uploaded a new file
