BRL-CAD's new modeling interface, archer, displays a splash screen when you start the program. This is what it currently looks like:

There are several problems with that image. It uses our old logo. It references the wrong website. It has a massive pointless ""icon"". It proclaim's archer being trademarked (distracting).
Your task is to design a completely new splash screen that has none of those problems, is visually interesting, optionally incorporates our new logo, and optionally references our main website (brlcad.org).
Check out some of the other design tasks for inspiration. Make yours look even more impressive, artistically interesting. ;)
Submit your image in whatever raw working format you use (e.g., psd), preferably something with layers in case we need to change anything, but also submit a final png image as well.

First of all, you need to provide the url of the background image used. It's important to acknowledge if we are allowed to use that wallpaper as background for BRL-CAD splash screen

Melange clearly allows .psd files to be uploaded, as you can see on other tasks.
Can you detail a bit? What's the issue?
Also, where did you get that image? Generally, you need to make a reference to where you take an image, and that you can use it.
However, why use it? It looks awesome, but it has nothing to do with BRL-CAD in general.
You should develop a background of your own, be creative!
The loading bar looks really nice, but you could change the blue to black.

The background looks much better as design, I suggest you keep that design, however:
- the black text is difficult to read on dark background, you should have some contrast between them, meaning text should be easy to read.
- there's too much grey, on the bar, the background, try to balance colors a bit.
In any case, you're definetly going in the right direction.
Also, you still haven't answered why you can't upload .psd files?

i managed to submit my psd file. It was just that before the psd file was too big,it exceeded the 35mb limit.
