Design a new website favicon! #10BRL-CAD

This task is pretty simple: design our favicon!
You can use our logo or come up with some other CAD-relevant iconography that is visually interesting and understandable. You MUST HAVE ATTENTION TO DETAIL with this task.
Aliasing artifacts, fuzzy scaled images, and ugly designs will not be acceptable. ;) The icon must work especially well at 16x16 but may be in other/multiple sizes too.
Bonus points appeal if you base your work on something rendered with BRL-CAD, but this is not necessary.

Thank you for your design. It certainly is the right size and looks nice, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Would you explain your design and/or make it more obviously relevant to BRL-CAD? Something related to 3D geometry perhaps.

I created a cube favicon. I did this because whenever I think of 3d geometry I think of a cube. I also tried to keep it simple.
The new file is named Google.png

That's an interesting idea! Try and add another version that uses the color scheme (dark red black) found in our logo/website:
If you're set on the cube design idea, model and render an interesting cube using BRL-CAD (download and install brl-cad, run mged, see brlcad.org/wiki/Documentation for tutorials)

I unfortunately wasn't able to model and render a cube in BRL-CAD, but I did change the color scheme to a darker red and black.

Unable to render a cube? That's like the very first tutorial and we provide a virtual machine where BRL-CAD is already downloaded and ready to be installed...

After working with BRL-CAD I think my problem revolves around the mater command. I read the tutorial, but when I applied it to the cube that I was told that the cube is not a combination. Could you please explain what I'm doing wrong?

Hey alok, can you please explain your design, how you made it. Is the cube in your gif file rendered by BRL-CAD or just a simple cube.

I guess there's a little misunderstanding, as per rules of melange, one task can only be done by one person. You claimed the task, but didn't ask for extension of time or upload any file, so melange reopened that task. After it's reopened, Rishi claimed this task. So now this task was to be done by him.
You are encouraged to do some another design task, there are plenty of it.
Also I will try to make another favicon task, so that you can upload your done work.
