I liked the icons you uploaded, design is good but we need more icons and probably different icons. We need icons for the website design that sits at beta.brlcad.org/wp/ , for a better design overview look at cpp-tricks.com/brlcad/ . 
Look at the upper menubar in any of the above links, and you have to design icons for this menu. Also look at beta.brlcad.org/w/ and you will see a new wiki design with lots of icons for wiki actions on left and right. You can also choose icons from here and make a complete set keeping in mind the consistency of the design.

Very interesting style on your icons!  Nice work.  Are you following any particular design style guide, or perhaps basing you work of something else you saw?  It looks familiar, but I can't place my finger on it.  Can you describe your creativity process a little?

How much time have you put into these two logos so far?

my strategy for designing icons was first creating sone good icons in an desktop app named ICONION and then modifying them in photoshop. It seems easy but i did a lot of effort in first selecting app downloading the app and then modifying the icons in Photoshop. I spent a day on this task.

These icons are recommended for your new website for menus like documentation ,gallery, home , blog etc.

It was a great experiwnce doing this task
