Status: ClosedTime to complete:
100 hrs
Mentors: Hardeep Singh Rai, Gauravjeet SinghBeginner
This task involves designing a T-Shirt for BRL-CAD. Use your designing skills to design a T-Shirt for BRL-CAD. You can use the current BRL-CAD logo, or you may tweak it. Be creative while designing this T-Shirt. It would be good if the design has some special meaning.

You are encouraged to discuss and share progress with the developers for interactive feedback. Look at some of the other completed GCI design tasks for inspiration but create an original work. Submit your artwork as raw editable files (ideally with layers in case we need to edit the design) and join the brlcad-news mailing list to hear if we use your design at some point in the future.
Be awesome, be creative. Make yours better than the rest. ;)

Hey Jude,
Hope you having fun in doing task. Can you please export it into png or jpeg too.
Awesome progress Jude,
1.)I think you could modify edges of the sticker by embedding the design in a flower as in the edges of a lotus or any nice flower design you have in mind.
2.) The red is too strong. you could lighten it
See what you can do here.
Cheers!

Did you turn our logo into a pinwheel?! Hehe, that's a first.
That said, it doesn't look like you've responded to any of the comments made by the other reviewers. You'll need to upload a new version of your work for review that addresses those issues.
Other issues I noticed are that using that version of the logo with your "pinwheel stick" highlight a flaw in the logo where the top/middle chain link is not centered. There are other versions (see http://brlcad.org/wiki/Logo for alternates) that fix this issue.

Thanks for the feedback!
I've lightened the red text, I was wondering whether you could tell me if the sticker is the logo in the middle or around the entire t-shirt design. Sorry for asking, and I was also wondering if I'd have to draw the flower myself or not because I read in the rules that I'd get disqualified if I 'violate the rights of a third party'? I don't know all that much about what it means but I think it's about me using things I don't have the rights to. I'm not that good at drawing so I was wondering if you knew how I could get a flower shape that I'd have rights to? I'm sorry for asking!
Sorry, this is the first task I've done in google code-in. When I saw 'Needswork' I thought I hadn't clicked 'Mark task as complete' so I clicked it again without scrolling down to the comments.
Sorry again
There are less than 24 hours left until the deadline, please submit your work soon.
