BRL-CAD has a relatively new logo and the website is undergoing major changes. So this re-branding of BRL-CAD also requires a good, well designed and attractive cover photo for the BRL-CAD's Facebook page and other social media facades. It should feature a good tagline (our official is ""open source solid modeling"") or showcase some killer feature of BRL-CAD, BRL-CAD's new logo and/or some illustration/image regarding the feature highlighted.
It should be consistent with the color scheme of our new website design. Please avoid a military-centric theme and cheesy bylines (you can use ""Open Source Solid Modeling"" or something else simple). Make it look impressive, awesome. Be simple, but be awesome.

Submit one image of the banner image by itself and another example mock-up image showing how it will look on our Facebook page. Any image format will do just fine.
There are duplicates of this task as we solicit ideas and inspiration. Look at the other completed GCI ""facebook"" tasks and make yours look even better. Do not claim more than one without discussing with us first

fili345,
Nice try, here is the feedback: 3D text is aliased (i.e. poor quality), bylines are not so pleasant. Choose some good looking fonts. Avoid using eagle logo and military-sounding terms. The placement of elements doesn't look good so you need to come up with something more impressive, more professional.
As mentioned in the task description, you also need to upload a mock-up image showing how your design actually looks on a Facebook page.
Best of luck!
I can't do the google code in sorry bit i livello in Italy and i'm noto allowed to partecipate at google code in sorry
It's sad you'll no longer be participating in the Google Code-In :(, but we do encourage you to stay connected with our community and contribute outside Code-in still. There are alot of interesting problems you could work on and open source is interesting with alot of nice people to work with.

Overall I like the concept; however, there are a few changes I would suggest:
I really like the idea of the logo in the "medallion" and the usage of light (and the related circles).
