Sharan Narayanon November 29 2013 20:05 UTCMark IV

I ended up making the mark IV, It's more stylish than mark I

Sean on November 30 2013 05:26 UTCsymmetry?

Sharan, that looks awesome.  I've never seen someone use the sketch primitive as much as you have recently!  Are you using the old interface in mged or the newer interface in archer for that?

The only issue I see is that the center design is quite asymmetric.  The mark iv design should be perfectly symmetric, like this: http://fc08.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/147/2/a/Iron_Man_2_arc_reactor_prop_by_ajb3art.jpg

There's also depth, but I realize that's probably not easily achieved.

Sean on November 30 2013 05:27 UTCrendering hint

Plus, a little hint on preview rendering, with your current light settings, you can run "rt -A1.5" to get a better preview on your end.

Thanks for the hint for rendering really hepled, I had wasted 30 mins on adjust the angle of the light, so that every thing was bright.

I made minor adjustments(created a new sketch), But the triangle is not a equilateral triangle in realtiy also, it is a isosceles triangle, so every this might look asymmetric, the photo you reffered was a vibranium core(different than normal one)

At last, Please add more modelling tasks, I am very much confident after creating this...
