Design BRL-CAD stickerBRL-CAD
Status: ClosedTime to complete: 72 hrs Mentors: SeanTags:

This task involves designing a BRL-CAD sticker. The design should be simple and sleek. The concept of sticker should be clear and also it should be creatively presented. Get inspired from some sticker designs but choose your own imagination while designing the sticker. There is no bound for shape of sticker, it can be rectangular, circular or even irregular. The only thing that matters is that it should look good.

Thses are some good designs, I really liked the one with circle named st4.png.

In ST4.png, write BRL-CAD in center using some good font. After this it would make it a great sticker.

What is the intention or motivation for the diagonal color stripe that's a slightly different "reddish" tone.  It's placement seems odd and peculiar that it's only visible underneath the bottom right "hole".

I rather like ST2, but think the three holes need to be white-filled.  Can you submit one more like that?  Otherwise, nicely done.

If you have original PSD files, those would be great to receive so we can retain proper layering and any transparency background information.

Sharan Narayanon November 20 2013 09:08 UTCno PSD

I use Inkscape to edit svg files they are all inkscape svgs so they are editable...

I made the holes white but they dont look like they are white rather grey because of the background anyways check the sticker3.svg and g3815.png

i cant see the mark task as complete button

Sean on November 21 2013 04:34 UTCi like it

Nicely done, I like the end result.  The only issue I saw remaining is the black link is "lumpy".  The two red ones are nice circles, but the black one looks like it bulges out ever so slightly in a few places.

You did complete the task, but that is something we'd have to correct to use this.
