BRL-CAD's new modeling interface, archer, displays a splash screen when you start the program. This is what it currently looks like:

There are several problems with that image. It uses our old logo. It references the wrong website. It has a massive pointless "icon". It proclaim's archer being trademarked.

Your task is to design a completely new splash screen that has none of those problems, is visually interesting, incorporates our new logo, and references are main website (brlcad.org).

Check out some of the other design tasks for inspiration. Make yours look even more impressive, artistically interesting. ;)

Submit your image in whatever raw working format you use (e.g., psd), preferably something with layers in case we need to change anything, but also submit a final png image as well.

Hadn't actually considered an animated gif, but I like the concept. Just a few issues come to mind:

archer is not trademarked

I suggest starting the logo smaller (like 0.5x) and growing to 2/3 the window or something bigger than where it currently stops (or make the splash window smaller)

The raising logo shadows BRL-CAD, which is a little bit of a confusing unintentional metahpor? coming to life and shadowing one's self?

Wow, that's great, but I want to be in top five not by quantity but by quality.
