Design a coffee mug for BRL-CADBRL-CAD
Status: ClosedTime to complete: 72 hrs Mentors: SeanTags:

This task involves designing a coffee mug for BRL-CAD. Make it look good, so that one can use it while working on BRL-CAD. Look over some great coffee mug designs before starting to work on this. It would be great if the design on coffee mug has some special meaning.

The zip file you uploaded seems empty to me. I extracted your file and got an empty folder.

Check the file and upload it again.

Tan,

That zip file looks much better!  That design is cute, but could you try a non-military design/byline?  We have way too many pictures of tanks.

You also used the British spelling of modeling... :)

You're definitely on the right track and I love the conceptualization on a mug.

Dear Sean,

I have thought about it and decided to remove the tank images and replace it with something else. I'm currently unsure of what to replace it with but I was thinking of using a meme that both provides comic relief and can attract attention, but not so eye-catching that it distracts them from their work and also an image of a solid modeling of a cup on the side to show some sort of recurrence while tying in line with the theme of solid modeling.

Also, do you think the tagline should be changed too?

The spelling mistake has been noted, sorry for that.

Regards,

Tan

There are even more issues with the new design.  We can't just use images off of the web without having appropriate rights.  Moreover, the design now makes absolutely no sense.  It's just three images that have nothing to do with each other and a tagline that has nothing to do with the images...

I suggest browsing various mug design image search terms like this:
