I would like to work on this task.

This task has been assigned to BrendenD15. You have 48 hours to complete this task, good luck!

BrendenD15on January 12 2013 04:54 UTCAlmost Done

I've got almost everything set up, except I'm having trouble shrinking a few of the images so that they fit better. You can check it out at http://brlcad.org/wiki/Tutorial/Shaders . I'll post a link on the main wiki page once I get all of the pictures moved around and positioned right.

Sean on January 12 2013 17:26 UTCdon't worry

Don't worry about shrinking the images when you upload them.  You can upload them full resolution and the display them smaller in the tutorial where the [[image:...]] tag is used with wiki syntax.  I took a quick look and it's looking pretty good already.  I would suggest maybe even making most of the images already there display at a smaller scale (maybe 75% or 50%), but use your better judgement.  Just remember to upload them full-scale first.

I've shrunk most of the pictures and have organized the examples so that they are in a horizontal format allowing for easy viewing of how they relate to each other. The one exception is the last example. I left the photos in that format that was set up in the Word document partly because I wanted to keep the wiki page mostly true to the original format, and mostly because I can't space the words so that they would line up  correctly over each photo if I were to put them in the horizontal format.

I do believe though that I have done a good job designing the page and so I have added the link to it at http://brlcad.org/wiki/Main_page under the tutorials section. I am also marking it as complete.

The work on this task is ready to be reviewed.

BrendenD15on January 12 2013 19:01 UTCOther Wikis I've Done

By the way, if you would like to see some of my other wiki postings I did last year they are at http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Become_a_language_pair_developer_for_Apertium and http://wiki.apertium.org/wiki/Cascaded_Interchunk . The Cascaded Interchunk page has been added to cosiderably by other users. The other page, however, is almost exactly the same as when I first created it. So it's a much better example.
