Publish two Eclipse write-ups to our wikiBRL-CAD
Status: ClosedTime to complete:
48 hrs
Mentors: Sean
We have two completed GCI tasks that involved writing tutorials on using Eclipse. This task involves taking those two articles and putting them up on our wiki:
- http://www.google-melange.com/gci/task/view/google/gci2012/8032205
- (notice the latter provides the .docx files for both tasks)
You're going to take the text AND images and add them as content to the BRL-CAD wiki. Proof-read the write-ups checking for grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes. Add them as /wiki/Compiling/Eclipse and /wiki/Compiling/Eclipse/Manually
Link the latter to the prior. Link the prior onto the Main_page.

This task has been assigned to Nikolaj Bojkov. You have 48 hours to complete this task, good luck!
What exactly do you mean by "Link the latter to the prior. Link the prior onto the Main_page.".
See the previous sentence. What does it sound like that means?
The claim on this task has been removed, someone else can claim it now.

This task has been assigned to jasons. You have 48 hours to complete this task, good luck!
What are the specific files of the 2 tasks you want put on the wiki?

The answer to your question is already in the task write-up. See the third bullet.
The work on this task is ready to be reviewed.
Melange has detected that the deadline has passed and no more work can be submitted. The submitted work should be reviewed.
It doesn't look like anything links to Compiling/Eclipse/Manually?
Compiling/Eclipse should mention and link to it somewhere briefly.
Also the link on the Main page should be under "Want to get involved?" not under the tutorials section. Notice the other Compiling link.
One of the mentors has sent this task back for more work. Talk to the mentor(s) assigned to this task to satisfy the requirements needed to complete this task, submit your work again and mark the task as complete once you re-submit your work.
The deadline of the task has been extended with 1 days and 0 hours.
The work on this task is ready to be reviewed.
Congratulations, this task has been completed successfully.
That looks good. I made a few changes, but that looks perfectly useful now. If you provide your full name, I'll be sure to credit you in our website authorship documentation.

Thanks for the mentoring for GCI 2012! Hope my work has benefited your project's goals. If you have any questions/comments, just reply back here. :)

As GCI comes to a close, we wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU for all your efforts. This comment interface closes after GCI is over, so you're encouraged to join our mailing list where we'll be announcing contributions from GCI participants like yourelf over the upcoming months:
https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/brlcad-news
If you've provided your full name, we'll be sure to credit you in our authorship documentation and you'll see your name in a future announcement. If you contact us at devs@brlcad.org or via IRC, we'll even let you know when your work is integrated and follow up with updates. You're welcome and encouraged to contact us any time, especially if you have a question about how to continue participating in Open Source after GCI is over, but even if just to keep in touch. Note that ongoing participation in Open Source is one of the most impressive skills to have on your resumé. Take care, be well, and thank you again!
