Most of our web infrastructure is built on top of common web infrastructure and nearly all of them are using MySQL as their database. We have a very stable production server where most of our web services are housed, but they are running on a very old versions of software. We're in the process of migrating to newer hardware with newer software and you can help with that migration.
This task involves taking database information from one server and migrating it to our new server. This includes more than a dozen different databases, and will need to be demonstrated that the tables migrated successfully by either showing the output from a couple queries or also migrating one of the web applications using a database and showing that it works.
You should be somewhat familiar with running the "mysql" command-line interface and other mysql tools like mysqldump and mysqladmin to take on this task. Contact 'brlcad' on IRC after claiming this task to get set up.
