On this page

SYNOPSIS

find_pipe_pnt pipe "view_x view_y view_z"
find_pipe_pnt pipe view_x view_y view_z

DESCRIPTION

The find_pipe_pnt command searches a PIPE primitive and identifies the segment that is closest to a given view coordinate.

mged> find_pipe_pnt pipe.s "0 0 1"

Searches pipe.s for a segment that is closest to the view coordinate (0, 0, 1) and returns the numeric index of that segment.
