My name is Carlos Silva, and I'm from Portugal.

I would be delighted to improve BRL-CAD under Google Summer of Code 2009 program, so I submitted an application to improve the IGES converter importer/exporter.

Abstract: The main goal is to update the IGES converter importer/exporter to version 5.3 (and update it to 6.0 in the future) of the IGES standard, and producing quality code ready to be included in svn mainline brlcad.


I am getting familiarized with the source code and IGES documentation, and i hope to start contributing patches as soon as possible.
