Design a set of render / cancel render icons #5BRL-CAD

BRL-CAD is a 3D modeling systems where one is very often rendering high-quality visualizations of geometry. We need good application icons to indicate most of those transformations.

One icon will represent ray trace rendering. The other will be a cancel raytrace icon.

Define a set of at least 2 icons that we can use in our main GUI application (e.g., on a top toolbar). Submit the icons in a raw editable format (e.g., SVG, AI, PSD, or XCF) as well as an overview of them all in PNG format.

The icons should be scalable at least from 16x16 through 128x128 while maintaining a clean appearance.

vkolova, these are interesting icons, but they don't convey "render" to me. If I saw that icon in a menu bar, I'd probably even think it was a status indicator that turns different colors based on something detected.. Perhaps you can modify the design to provide some connotation of rendering like these:
