Several of the BRL-CAD developers and interested users are available most times of day in the #brlcad Internet Relay Chat (IRC) channel on the Freenode network (e.g., irc.freenode.net, port 6667). As much of BRL-CAD's development is centralized over the IRC channel, users are encouraged to join the channel for interactive discussion. While there is a web-based IRC interface, users are encouraged to use a "real" IRC client.
